Valentine's Day On Valentine’s Day of 2012 the students in Mrs. Johnston’s class will write about Valentine’s Day off the top of their heads. While a girl, Alyssa, was writing she was feeling so elated and happy. She wrote about how much Valentine’s Day meant to her. She went on about the people she cared for and what she was going to do when she got home. She went through the day doing what needed to be done. Once it was time to go, she sprinted home so fast she couldn’t feel her legs. As soon as she walked in she smelled the mouth watering aroma of delicious cookies. She gave her mom the-those-look-wonderful-and-I’m-starving look. Her mom nearly read her mind and replied by saying “Now you have to eat your dinner before dessert.” She helped cook and serve dinner. The family ate their meal and enjoyed each other’s company. She was happy to be here and spend time with the people she loved on a day like this.
